WOW Quest Information

Quests are an important part of World of Warcraft. Apart from anything else they stop the game becoming tiresome too fast by adding to the immersion into the WoW world but even the quests become a essential evil after a while. The first occasions that you play, they are exciting and keeps you affixed to the game. The next occasion you do them you may try some other options, but after that it starts to become more about efficiency.

After some time quests are all about finishing it in the most efficient means, and there are 2 ways one can do this. The first happens to be the commonest, which according to a few, is one of the ways where you succeed by trial and error. With this approach you somehow trudge along, duplicating many of the activities you tried before. The worst trouble of this wandering method is that you are most confused and perplexed.

The 2nd way is more organized and professional in the way that you are clear of your moves, you carry on refining your tactical movements as you travel from one point to the other until the end. I learned this lesson long ago in a long ignored game called Pools of Radiance, and it holds right to any game with any sort of play back worth at all. If you feel that you might return the same way, take notes as you travel en route. In case you feel that you would take up this expedition once again, make notes of the important points and take a different path just to add variety. You are most welcome to try out assorted options but if you forget to note down your activities, chances are that next time around, you would be running about like a headless chicken.

How much? Let's go back to the game where I learned the lesson: Pools of Radiance was a precursor to the likes of World of Warcraft. I first brought my champions from the walls of Phlan and journeyed up the river to reach a lake. In the heart of the lake was a large pyramid spewing all sorts of pollution into Phlan's lovely clean river and my heroes had to investigate. To come to the point, the pyramid contained one of the most irritating mazes I have ever seen. The whole thing was a large mass of tangles, twists and turns which kept the landmarks out of sight and to top it there were teleportation systems which kept on transporting you. I spent endless hours trying to handle the maze till I began to jot down every exploit that I made. This enabled me to finish the trip in 10 minutes when I attempted to run it with a new team the following time.

So Map, register, elaborate and while it may sound a little dull to start, when you carry it to it's natural end and you've leveled four times quicker than everyone else, the dullness doesn't smart so much.
